In 1919 Leonard Haworth (grandfather of Partners, Christopher and Timothy) began practice as the first solicitor in Cleveleys. His son, also named Leonard Haworth continued to develop the practice from premises situated above the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Christopher joined the Firm in 1963 followed by his brother Timothy in 1968. In 1976 Leonard Haworth and Sons moved to larger office premises at 6 Crescent East, Thornton Cleveleys, where the current practice remains today.

Andrew Brotherton joined the Firm as a Partner in 2009 and the practice was renamed Haworth Brotherton. Andrew brought with him over 20 years specialist experience and combined with the vast specialist experience of partners Christopher and Timothy, ensures that Haworth Brotherton Solicitors provides an unparalleled quality service to its clients.

ChristopherHaworth


Christopher qualified in 1968 and has worked as a solicitor in Cleveleys since then. He has extensive experience in matrimonial and litigious work and now specialises in commercial property work including sales, purchases, the grant of leases and landlord and tenant disputes. He has a wealth of knowledge relating to the area and also specialises in the making of wills and the administration of estates.

Christopher has a special interest in relation to taxation issues, estate planning and 'asset preservation'.

TimothyHaworth


Timothy studied law at Southampton University and after gaining his degree with honours qualified as a solicitor in 1971. He has lived in Thornton Cleveleys all his life and worked as a solicitor with the Firm of Leonard Haworth and Sons (now Haworth Brotherton) throughout his working life; this gives him a special understanding and wealth of experience to enable him to better serve the needs of clients in the area.

Timothy deals mainly with residential and commercial conveyancing, wills, probate and court of protection work.

AndrewBrotherton


Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and took up employment in the same year with Inghams (formerly Ingham Clegg & Crowther) Solicitors at the Firms office in Thornton Cleveleys Lancashire. Andrew became a Partner in the firm and subsequently the Managing Partner of that office in 1997 before joining Haworth Brotherton in 2009.

Andrew specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, wills, probate and court of protection work.
